'thistles & that' is to entertain the ideas and expressions of thoughts, likes, creative notions, and simplicity.

the name was composed by a combination of a favorite bible verse, and different things here and there. 1 [Thessal]onians 5:16 is one of my favorites. aspiring to contract a place with mismatched hinges of flair, 'thistles & that' was formulated by the common phrase 'this and that.'

a thistle is a prickly plant with a purple flower bud.

we all have a 'look' to us. a thistle has a look to it. although sometimes we forget about the small weeds or simple things in life, 'thistles & that' is for encouraging and reflecting on those special things that sometimes, most of the time, get overlooked. everything has beauty.
