'tis the season + day uno

It's the start of my favorite time of year. I am rather excited that tomorrow will be chilly enough to wear a winter scarf! YAY.

As most people look forward to the warmer side of the calendar (for reasons of having darkened pigments in the skin, showing off the just-worked-out-from-January-to-Spring-Break-Bod, and wearing very little, on a sandy beach), I look forward to THIS time of year!

The time of year where skin becomes pale, clothes get longer + puffier, marshmallows get roasted, and skin gets drier--happiness.

Family time becomes more important, we become more thankful, Holidays more prevalent, and toes get warmer from fires, fuzzy blankets, and sheepskin-lined boots. Jackets/Coats/Scarves/Boots are the best reasons for getting out in the sometimes harsh, stale air. The perfect medicine....
Tortilla Soup... Meal of the week

day uno begins tomorrow! Visit the G 5:22 page to see the Thanksgiving challenge (top of this page)!

Have a super weekend!!! If you're home-- invite someone over for dinner (or coffee, or cider) when you would normally want to have your own alone time!

"Cheerfully Share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay. God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another." -1 Peter 4:9-10
